HOWARD — Lisa Brown, the new principal at East Knox Middle School, is excited about coming to East Knox. “I really like this area,” she said. “Everybody here has been extremely friendly. When my husband and I first moved to northern Ohio, we met someone from Apple Valley and they tried to convince us to move there.”
Brown said one of the attractions of the school district is that it seems to be a very stable district, with very friendly people. One of the challenges she foresees this year is, said Brown, “they did have to make some cuts to staff, so it’s going to be a different type of schedule. That’s going to be a challenge.
“I am extremely excited and happy to be here,” Brown continued, “I look forward to working with all the parents and community members. I’m quite sure this is going to be a very successful opportunity for me.”
