Off and running
On July 31, the Knox County Lawnmower Racing Association, a subsidiary of the American Lawnmower Racing Association, held its first sanctioned race a mile and a half west of Danville. Shown are drivers competing in the race, sponsored by Donley Ford. The KCLRA had 18 racers in the Super Stock class. The association’s next event, a benefit race for cancer patient Kathy Kosman, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m. Gates will open at noon. Jones finds succcess in Ohio Senior Olympics
