Project complete

Erik Stage’s Eagle Scout project of restoring the shelter east of Howard on the Kokosing Gap Trail. Stage and his helpers reshingled the roof, sanded graffiti, filled carvings and painted the shelter. He is a member of Troop 348 of the Boy Scouts of America, sponsored by The Salvation Army. Petee receives Emmett Award

As a part of Saturday evening’s festivities at the Dan Emmett Music and Arts Festival, Mike Petee was presented the second annual Emmett Award. Festival director Pat Crow said of Peete, “Mike has made your life richer, playing folk music in a local band and serving as a creator in the Chatauqua series.
