First day
Tuesday was the first day of school at the Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School on Sychar Road — the first school opening in the city. These kindergartners were getting their first experience in the classroom. Teacher Carolyn Mattson worked with, from left, Adrianna Thomas, Chloe George and Blake Coffing. Golf outing winners
