Rollover accident
A one-vehicle crash at Knox Village Square on Wednesday afternoon resulted in the driver being transported by Life Flight to The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. Mount Vernon Police Department Capt. George Hartz said a vehicle driven by Charles Fox, 88, Mount Vernon, rolled down the hill in front of Peebles toward Staples, coming to rest in a ravine. Two MVPD officers and two medics arrived at the scene and found the vehicle on fire. Fox sustained minor bumps and bruises and is doing well, according to his son, Ron Fox. (Virgil Shipley)
