MOUNT VERNON — A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle this morning on Mansfield Road.
According to Mount Vernon Police Department Capt. George Hartz, a female, who was believed to be walking to Dan Emmett Elementary School, was struck. The Mount Vernon Fire Deparment responded to the accident and transported the girl to Knox Community Hospital.
No additional information was available at press time.
