Red Ball Jets

The Red Ball Jets rocked the First-Knox National Bank Stage Friday night during the Fredericktown Tomato Show. From crazy costumes to great music, the group kept the crowd entertained. The Tomato Show wraps up festivities tonight.  (Virgil Shipley)

Driver pinned

Jenni Sterling, 19, Howard, was transported to a Columbus Hospital by a MedFlight helicopter Friday night after her vehicle was involved in an accident with a pickup truck just after 9 p.m. on Apple Valley Drive. The name of the truck driver was not released at press time. He suffered from minor injuries, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Rescuers from the Eastern Knox County Joint Fire District removed the roof of Sterling’s car in order to free her pinned legs. The accident is still under investigation.  (Virgil Shipley)
