  • Hulse, Weidinger join News staff

MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon News has recently added two new staff members to the Graphic Design Prepress Department.

Christopher Weidinger of Loudonville, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and drawing from The Ohio State University. He interned at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and enjoys biking, music, and board, card and video games.

Kristin Hulse holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications from Ohio University. She interned at the Consortium for Energy, Economics and the Environment at the Voinovich School at Ohio University.

She enjoys hiking, reading, music and photography and is a resident of Fredericktown.

Weidinger and Hulse, along with the staff in the News’ graphic design department, are excited for the opportunity to design innovative and eye-catching ads for those purchasing advertisements in the Mount Vernon News, the Shoppers Mart, Bike Midwest magazine and the many special sections published by the News.
