Rally in the Alley
The Main Place Recovery Center kicked off its first Rally in the Alley fundraiser Friday afternoon. Rain blowing through Mount Vernon limited the activities for the day, but the event still went on as planned. Above, youngsters wait their turn to sample a snowcone. The rally will continue today from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. with live music, kids’ games, raffle drawings, food and crafts at 117 W. High St., Mount Vernon. (Alan Reed)
