MOUNT VERNON — The once stagnant Bob Evans Restaurant construction site on Coshocton Avenue is once again bustling with workers and equipment.
Bob Evans spokesperson Chelsea Hamilton said the new building is expected to be ready by the beginning of 2011.
“The new restaurant will now open on Jan. 24, 2011,” she said. “There are quite a few events that need to take place to make this opening a success. With the holidays just around the corner, we made the decision to open in January to allow ample time to execute those pre-opening activities.”
The present Bob Evans will continue to operate as normal throughout the construction process, Hamilton said.
