Centerburg inducts large group into NHS

Mishey Road crash
The 19-year-old driver of this vehicle was taken to a Columbus hospital with injuries after a crash on Mishey Road on Wednesday night. Other details were not available as of press time. (Virgil Shipley)


Building new turn lanes
The pavement on Gambier Road is being widened 4 feet on each side for the new left turn lanes to be installed at the intersection of Edgewood Road. Steve Phillips, forman of the Layton Construction Co. of Newark, is operating the backhoe digging the soil to grade for the new pavement. Layton said before the pavement is laid, a 6-inch drain tile will go in an 18-inch deep trench. The south side of the widening project was completed Monday. (Virgil Shipley)
