3.7 miles of HOOT paved

New sidewalk
This sidewalk was completed along US 36 in front of East Knox High and Middle School to the western edge of the village in an effort to provide a safe environment for students and residents. Funding for the project was provided by the Howard Township, Eastern Knox County Joint Fire District and the Dollar General store. (Kenesha R. Beheler)

Hayride through town
Patti Smith and her team of Clydesdale horses, Nellie and Samena, assisted by Ron Skinner, took residents of The Living Center on a horse-drawn hayride around town. The route included Main Street, Public Square, and ended with a tour of the north end National Historical District.
