MOUNT VERNON — After six weeks of learning and rehearsing dance and fitness routines, completing applications and developing their artistic presence, 27 responsible, talented and focused young ladies took to the Memorial Theater stage on Friday evening, the first of two nights of performances in the Knox County Junior Miss Scholarship Program.

2010 Greater Knox County Junior Miss Tabytha Arthur and 2010 Central Knox County Junior Miss Micayla Simmons returned to the spotlight and assisted with the evening’s events, all centered around the theme, “Broadway.”
