  • KCCC board hears about student projects

  • November 22, 2010 11:51 am EST

MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Career Center school board meeting on Thursday was largely routine, reported Treasurer Tracy Elliott.

She said the Moodle dry run will take place as scheduled on Tuesday. Students will stay home but still participate in their classes via the Internet.

Colby Clippinger, building trades instructor, and Keith Chester, residential construction and remodeling instructor, assisted by students, discussed their respective programs and recent projects, including the construction of gazebos around town.

Besides approving routine fiscal actions, the board approved the donation of $500 to each home school for expenses related to sophomore class visits to the KCCC.
