Three people escaped with minor injuries in this crash Monday at 11:05 a.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the accident occured at the intersection of Ohio 13 and Green Valley Road, north of Mount Vernon, when the driver of the Jeep, right, Bryant Smith, 22, Fredericktown, started a left turn onto Green Valley Road and collided with Steven Boucher, 58, Ashtabula. Smith and a passenger, Angie Smith, 22, Mount Vernon, who is nine months pregnant, were taken to Knox Community Hospital for checkups and were treated and released. Smith was charged with failure to yield the right of way on a left turn.
