MOUNT VERNON — Trevor Tieche, owner and founder of Bodi N Balance, has announced the fitness center would not be rebuilding in Mount Vernon after a fire destroyed the former Kresge building that housed the fitness center.

All active memberships will be transferred to Pro Fitness USA at 60 Parrot St., Mount Vernon.

“Pro Fitness USA is the best choice for Bodi N Balance,” said Tieche. “It is the only 24-hour access facility left in town. We thank all our members for their patience while we tried to sift through the rubble that was once our business.”

Tieche and his wife, Kearsten, started Bodi N Balance in Mount Vernon as a personal training company that traveled to clients’ homes all over the state.

“We appreciate everyone that has helped us along the way and supported our dream to run our own business, and create jobs in this struggling economy,” said Tieche. “We not only lost our business, but six people lost jobs from the fire. I hope that some day we will be able to once again expand our company.”

For more information, members may contact Dennis Bates at Pro Fitness USA at 392-4872.
