Eight Republican candidates are seeking the endorsement of the Republican citizens of the 18th District to take on Democratic incumbent Zack Space in the November election.

Knox County residents in Brown and Jefferson townships, along with others in the Loudonville-Perrysville school district, are being asked on May 4 to approve a 38-year property tax issue to replace current school facilities.
Fredericktown school district residents this spring are being asked to approve a five-year, 4.8-mill property tax levy to pay for the day-to-day operating expenses of the district.
East Knox Local Schools are asking voters to approve a five-year, 1 percent earned income tax to pay for the district’s operating expenses.
The school board of the Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County, C-TEC for short, has placed a 1-mill operating levy on the May ballot.
Mount Vernon City School District residents this spring are being asked to renew a 2.75-mill emergency operating levy, which would be in effect for five years.
One of the races on the May primary ballot for Republicans will be for a seat on the Ohio Republican Central Committee.
Voters in Miller Township will be voting on a levy to provide funds for ambulance and EMS service in the May primary.
