Danville Mock Trial team heading to regionals

Danville High School’s Mock Trial Team Black has won the opportunity to compete in a regional match to be held on Feb. 25. Truck catches on fire

Domenic Wolpe, Mount Vernon, had just gotten his 1989 Ford F-150 out of the shop after repairs when it caught fire this morning. His friend, Zack Taylor, Apple Valley, was driving the truck near Whispering Hill Care Center on Wooster Road when he saw smoke coming from under the hood. Mount Vernon firefighters quickly doused the fire but there is heavy damage under the hood. Wolpe said his truck is insured.  (Virgil Shipley)
