  • Qade Lewis has been a Mount Vernon Police Officer only 18 months but he has impressed his peers and supervisors enough they voted him winner of the Thomas Bartlett Award for 2010. The officer of the year award is named after the late longtime Police Chief Thomas Bartlett. Accepting the award with Lewis on Tuesday afternoon are his wife, Jeni, and their 10-month-old son, Cade.
