CENTERBURG — High school proms are memorable events in the lives of teenagers, but obtaining just the right attire can be an expensive proposition. To help young women “Say Yes to the Dress,” the Heart of Ohio Women’s Club and the Centerburg Church of Christ are joining forces to sponsor a prom boutique.

The Prom Boutique is open to high school students in Centerburg and the surrounding areas. It will be held at the Centerburg Church of Christ on Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature dresses in sizes 0 to 18, shoes and accessories.

“Everything is free,” said Ronda Seligman of the Women’s Club. “With the way the economy is, we are excited about giving girls a chance to find a nice prom outfit at no cost to them. We will also have tables where they can get makeup and nail tips, hairstyle tips and corsage and boutonniere ideas.”

Anyone wishing to donate new or gently used prom dresses, shoes or accessories may take the items to the Centerburg Church of Christ, 3830 S. Columbus Road. For more information: www.centerburgcoc.com or Mary at 625-6924.
