Fredericktown to present ‘Cinderella’

Fredericktown High School will present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical version of “Cinderella” this weekend on the main stage in the elementary commons. The curtain will go up at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and a Sunday matinee starts at 2:30 p.m. Audience members can get into the act by participating in a Little Prince and Princess costume parade during intermission. City, county to look at levee, dike system

High water always washes tree limbs and other debris down river, some of which collects around bridges. The viaduct over the Kokosing River on South Main Street collected trash around the piers during the flooding over the weekend. The city will remove the obstructions.  (Virgil Shipley)

Honey Run Falls flowing strong

Honey Run Falls off Hazel Dell Road a mile southeast of Millwood was a roaring cascade of water over the weekend. The falls are a short walk from a small park and parking area along Hazel Dell Road.  (Virgil Shipley)
