Amish rescue man after crash

James Clifford, 77, Danville, was rescued by Amish after his car left the road and went into this creek Saturday at 9:29 a.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Clifford was northbound on Ohio 205 when he attempted a turn onto Shadley Valley Road. His car went off the left the side of the roadway and rolled over in the creek. He was taken to Knox Community Hospital for treatment by the Eastern Knox County Joint Fire District. He is charged with failure to maintain reasonable control.  (Virgil Shipley)
