National Champ at Arnold Classic

New bridge taking shape
The new bridge on Banning Road at the intersection of Lover’s Lane is starting to get its legs. Five pilings are being driven to a friction fit into the ground to support each end of the bridge. The new bridge will be 79 feet long and 28 feet wide. It is of prestressed concrete box beam construction with a concrete deck. The cost is $272,250. Completion date is July 15. (Virgil Shipley)
