Lights come down
“They came down a lot easier than they went up,” said Richard Burch while taking down the Christmas lights from the tall pine tree on Mount Vernon’s Public Square, Thursday morning. Burch used a long pole to lift the 1,000-foot long string of lights off the branches while Heritage Centre Association President Corby Wise rolled them onto a spool. (Virgil Shipley)
