FREDERICKTOWN — The Fredericktown Local School District will permit students from any Ohio school district to enroll in its school system on a tuition-free basis.

Applications will be accepted beginning 8 a.m. on April 1 and continuing through 4 p.m. on May 13.

The priority by which applications will be approved for acceptance will be based upon the date of receipt and then by the time of receipt. The Fredericktown Board of Education, through its policy, has established grade level, school building and educational program capacities. The final number of applicants approved for enrollment will be based upon those established capacities. Prior to acceptance, in accordance to the adopted policy, an applicant’s prior disciplinary record may be taken into consideration.

Once accepted for enrollment placement in the Fredericktown district, a student will not be displaced in future years if open enrollment policy continues to be in effect. However, applications must be resubmitted each school year in order for the district to know the student’s intent to return.

For further information contact Fredericktown Local Schools at 740-694-2956.
