MOUNT VERNON — Those 421 pinwheels, which will be seen around Knox County in the next three weeks, are a reminder that demonstrates the prevalence and seriousness of child abuse and neglect in Knox County.

The pinwheels will be on display April 11-15 at Eagle 93.7 and WMVO Radio; April 18-22 on the Public Square in Fredericktown and April 25-29 at Wiford Rental Sales and Service on Columbus Road.

The 421-pinwheel display was put together by Knox County Children Services for Prevent Child Abuse in Knox County Month. They deliver a message that together the citizens of Knox County can end child abuse at just the right time, before it starts.
