  • Fire that started from an unknown source destroyed this tractor Tuesday morning. Owned by Michael Shipley of Utica, it was being driven on Ohio 661 just south of Butcher Road by his employee, Luke Simons, when the fire started. The Homer Fire Department responded to the call at 9:28 a.m. with mutual aid from the Mount Vernon Fire Department. Ohio 661 was closed for 90 minutes.
