MOUNT VERNON — Three local juveniles have returned to the Children’s Resource Center after being reported missing late Friday. Mount Vernon Police Chief Mike Merrilees stated that all three juveniles returned “on their own free will” after Jerry Hartman from the CRC called the MVPD and reported them missing.

“They just ran away,” said Merrilees. “It’s a fairly normal occurrence there.” All three were safe and unharmed, according to Merrilees.

The Children's Resource Center is at 17606 Coshocton Road. As part of the Village Network, it is a residential treatment foster care facility.
