MOUNT VERNON — Lights, props, flowers, cameras, models ... everything you might expect on a Hollywood movie set, only was found in one of Mount Vernon’s most historic residences.

Round Hill Mansion on North McKenzie Street has been a beehive of activity this week as photo and video shoots have been taking place for advertising campaign efforts with Aerie, a division of American Eagle Outfitters Inc. The Aerie brand is a line of intimate apparel distributed by American Eagle.

Owned by Erwin and Christine Weber since 1996, Round Hill Mansion was chosen as the site for the advertising campaign as representatives of American Eagle were impressed with the background provided by the many rooms in the mansion. “We love this house. We just fell in love with it,” said Dana Seguin, director of marketing for Aerie.

The idea of shooting a campaign at Round Hill was the idea of Keith Keegan, longtime friend of the Webers and vice president of Enjoy Co. in Granville, who was coordinating the campaign shoot. Keegan had once told the Webers he wanted to shoot a campaign at their beautiful home, and this week his wish came true.
