CARDINGTON — A young Cardington woman, Jamie M. Musser, 20, was not wearing her seatbelt when she was killed in a crash Monday at 12:35 p.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the two-car crash was on U.S. 42 south of Cardington.
They said that John M. Parimuha, 41, Westerville, was northbound driving his 2002 Toyota Highland when he went left of center hitting Musser’s 2002 Saturn. Musser was pronounced dead at the scene by the Morrow County Coroner, Dr. William Lee.
Parimuha was taken to Morrow County Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. The crash is still under investigation. The patrol said this is the third fatal crash in Morrow County this year. The most recent fatal crash was Sunday when a 52-year-old Cardington man wrecked his pickup truck.
