FREDERICKTOWN — “Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail,” — Ralph Waldo Emerson. These simple words, the class motto for the Fredericktown High School Class of 2011, will be used to help those graduates as they pursue happiness and success in their lives.

Since kindergarten, the class of 2011 has been on a journey, said Valedictorian Jacob Haip.

“Our first hike in kindergarten was to sit next to the kid with a 64 box of Crayons,” Haip said.
