  • Jim Ferguson spent part of his evening on Monday trying to strain soap bubbles from the fountain on Public Square. He said he was sitting on the square Friday night when he saw three teenagers dump soap into the fountain. He used a small sieve to remove the bubbles, but wasn’t making much progress. A spokesperson for the city parks department said the fountain, and the one located at Riverside Park, are being hit nearly every night.
