  • A traffic light was removed so this 350-foot-long rig leaving Rolls-Royce this morning could turn the corner at North Sandusky and West Chestnut streets. The 407,000-pound load will travel U.S. 36 to Interstate 77 and south to Marietta. Once there, a barge will take it on a monthlong trip down the Ohio and Mississippi rivers eventually to Houston, Texas. It is destined for oil fields on the Caspian Sea. It is the first of three units that will be leaving the Mount Vernon facility this month. style=
