Jacob Anderson, 19, Centerburg, escaped with cuts and bruises in this crash Thursday at 4:30 p.m. on Sycamore Road, a mile east of Mink Street. Anderson told Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Brandon Ruhl he was westbound, looked down to swat a bee that flew in his window and his car went completely left of center. Approaching eastbound over a slight hill, Samuel Jagger, 27, Mount Vernon, was unable miss the car and they hit right front corners. Anderson was charged with driving on the left side of the road.
