MOUNT VERNON — Prior to the 2011 Knox County Junior Fair Sale of Champions, Jerry Lamb was honored as the latest inductee to the Junior Fair Sales Hall of Fame.

“Jerry is a huge contributor to the Knox County Junior Fair,” said Jim Hughes, in announcing the honor.

Hughes said Lamb has spent 32 years as a 4-H advisor, currently to Blazing Saddles 4-H and Cloverleaf Chums 4-H.

He is a member of the Knox County Sales Committee, is small animal barn superintendent and is a rabbit breeder, and has supplied animals and advice to many 4-H members.
