It also accepted the resignations of substitute custodian Richard Moss, bus driver Melinda Stover, summer food service worker Cynthia Robinson, assistant treasurer Carol Toprani, MVAP assistant monitor Dirk Parker, and Pleasant Street Title I aide Penny R. Doyle.

The board hired Mehgan Cline as a high school social studies teacher and approved Mia Cunningham as a bus driver, effective Aug. 15. It also employed Aimee Humphrey as a fifth-grade teacher at Pleasant Street and Mary Lou Jacklin as a fourth-grade teacher at Pleasant Street.
