MOUNT VERNON — No changes to the traffic patterns at the Mount Vernon High School/Middle school are expected when school resumes next week. Although it is likely more high school students will be driving themselves or be dropped off by their parents due to the elimination of high school busing.

“There are no changes to drop-off patterns,” said high school principal Kathy Kasler. “We did make corrections last year to help improve the traffic flow. With those in place, things should be fine.”

Kasler said the adult supervision will increase in the parking lots for safety reasons.
