CENTERBURG — The American flag is a symbol of pride in our country. It deserves proper respect and proper disposal. Fifteen members of the Knox County Joint Veterans, along with nine members of Boy Scout Troop 382, conducted a ceremony Thursday evening at the Centerburg Conservation Club to perform an official retiring of the colors, disposing of them “in a respectful manner.”
