MOUNT VERNON — What if the school year didn’t start until after Labor Day and ended by Memorial Day weekend? What if school years were based on the number of hours in session rather the number of days?

Ohio schools may soon find out if H.B. 191, currently pending in the House Education Committee, is enacted.
