MOUNT VERNON — The Central Ohio Joint Fire District responded to an accident involving spilled milk on Sycamore Road on Sunday. The accident was investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

A full report had not been filed by the OSHP as of press time. The incident was investigated by Trooper Tiffany Wilson of the patrol.

Dispatcher Wanda Mitchem was on duty when the incident happened and she indicated the vehicle was a milk tanker truck that turned over on Sycamore Road. The truck was righted by Blubaugh Towing. The unnamed truck driver was reported to have just minor injuries.

COJFD Duty Officer Lt. David Miller, was able to confirm the department was at the scene of the accident but no other information was available.
