Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Mat Whims diagrammed this crash that happened Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. on U.S. 36 at Updike Road east of Centerburg. Trooper Whim said the car in the foreground, driven by Mary Prater, 49, Fredericktown, pulled from Updike Road onto U.S. 36 and was struck by the car in the background driven by Diana Musick, 63, Mount Vernon. Prater was charged with failure to yield at a stop sign. Prater was taken to Knox Community Hospital for treatment and Musick to Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Her condition was not available today.
