BROWN TOWNSHIP — The Knox County Board of Commissioners made a trip to view the intersection of Danville-Amity, King and Wildcat roads on Monday morning. This was in response to receiving a letter of petition signed by numerous area residents that safety improvements be made to the intersection. Also in attendance Monday were area residents, county engineering representatives as well as township trustees. At the intersection in question, Wildcat Road goes to the north of Danville-Amity Road and King Road to the south.

The letter of petition was submitted by Paula Boeshart which expressed concerns of visibility at the intersection, asking for the possibility of a three-way or four-way stop sign be installed or a change be made to the grade on Danville-Amity Road. The county commissioners had previously brought this concern to Knox County Engineer Jim Henry who has reviewed the situation at the intersection as well.
