An emotional meeting where numerous positive words were shared about the school and the students ended in the decision to terminate the engineering and drafting program at the Knox County Career Center on Thursday evening.
Costs incurred by the Emergency Management Agency and the Eastern Knox Count Joint Fire District in the Jericho Road oil spill this spring have still not been repaid, Director Brian Hess reported at the EMA Board meeting Thursday.
