DANVILLE -- Danville school district residents may soon be able to keep up with school happenings in real time from home. Steve Butcher, music teacher and technophile, told the school board on Monday he is looking into doing live streaming of athletic and other events so those unable to attend in person can watch on line through the district's website. Butcher said that would be a natural progression through the Danville News Network, as students already produce a news updates for the website.

Treasurer Mary Payne on Tuesday told the News the rest of the meeting was routine, with the customary reports from the principals about student activities and progress.
