Schools in the area have planned programs or concerts for this holiday season. They are as follows:

•Centerburg

Thursday, second-grade music program, 7 p.m., high school auditorium.

Dec. 12, high school music program, 7 p.m., high school auditorium.

Dec. 14, grades seven and eight music program, 7 p.m., high school auditorium.

Dec. 14, grades four, five and six music program, 7 p.m., high school auditorium.

•Danville

Dec. 13, K-6 Christmas program, 6:30 p.m., high school auditorium.

•East Knox

Dec. 19, high school band holiday concert, 8 p.m., high school auditorium.

•Fredericktown

Dec. 14, holiday band concert, grades six though 12, 7 p.m., elementary school commons.

Dec. 15, preschool mini-musical “The Littlest Christmas,” morning session, 10:15 a.m., elementary school commons, and afternoon session, 2:25 p.m., elementary school commons.

Dec. 19, holiday choir concert, grades three through 12, 7 p.m., elementary school commons.

•Mount Vernon elementary schools are having Christmas carol sing-alongs during school hours for their school families only. Check with your school for details

Thursday, middle school and high school band concert, 7:30 p.m., high school theater.

Dec. 14, middle school and high school choir concert, 7 p.m., RR. Hodges Chapel, Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Dec. 15, middle school and high school orchestra concert, 7:30 p.m., high school theater

•North Fork

Dec. 11, junior and senior high choir concert, 7 p.m., junior high gym.

Dec. 15, North Fork fifth-and sixth-grade concert, 6 p.m., Newton Elementary gymnasium.

•St. Vincent de Paul School

Dec. 20, “A Christmas Story,” grades PreK through eight, 6:30 p.m., Mount Vernon Memorial Theater.
