Three employees at the Mount Vernon water/wastewater department were recently disciplined following a “horseplay” incident at the Ridgewood Avenue facility on Oct. 28, that left one employee with a broken finger.
Eight indictments were handed down by the Knox County Grand Jury on Dec. 5. Arraignments are scheduled for Dec. 16 before Common Pleas Court Judge Otho Eyster.
Officials with the city of Mount Vernon have announced they selected AEP Retail Energy, the non-regulated subsidiary of American Electric Power, as its preferred electric provider.
