BLADENSBURG — The village of Bladensburg will ring in the Christmas season with its annual Christmas Parade on Sunday afternoon.

The parade theme “Toys, Toys, Toys,” is to emphasize the parade’s connection with the Marine Corp. Toys for Tots program. An entry in the parade will include members of the Marines who will be able to collect unwrapped new toys from those watching the parade. Toys can also be dropped off at the entry table or at Santa’s house.

Knox County Sheriff David Barber will serve as grand marshal.

Those interested in participating in the parade can start to line up at the East Knox Elementary School at 1 p.m. No preregistration is required.

The parade will start at 2 p.m.
