The Knox County Cantata Choir rehearses the selections for the annual Christmas concert. Music for everyone is included in the performances Friday and Saturday at the Memorial Theater. Tickets are available at the main branch of First-Knox National Bank, from choir singers or at the door.

Cantata Choir to celebrate season

A pickup truck is loaded with food in this busy scene in front of Mount Vernon City Hall on Saturday. Food arrived as people donating drove through the line where volunteers collected it and loaded it into the truck as part of the Food for the Hungry annual drive.

Food for the Hungry exceeds its goal
