UTICA — Monday’s meeting of the North Fork school board was “pretty straight forward,” according to information provided to the News by Superintendent Scott Hartley on Tuesday.

The board began the meeting by recognizing outstanding football, cross country, volleyball and golf athletes for their performances in the Mid-Buckeye Conference.

Regarding personnel, the board granted the retirement request of custodian Barbara Wetherill, effective Jan. 2. It also added to the classified substitute and volunteer lists, and approved the certified substitute list.

The board approved routine fiscal actions and adopted changes to the policy manual in order to comply with changes is state and federal regulations.

Prior to adjournment, the board went into executive session to discuss personnel and the potential sale of property. No further action was taken.
