HARTFORD -- A large seed corn processing and storage facility southwest of Centerburg in Licking County, was destroyed by fire this morning.
MOUNT VERNON -- More than 20 Distinguished Young Women contestants and about the same number of retirement home residents would seem to be an odd mix for lunch, but everyone seemed to be having a good time.

MOUNT VERNON -- Taxpayers in the state of Ohio currently pay an 18.4 cents per gallon gasoline tax. Of this money collected, 62.58 percent goes to the Ohio Department of Transportation for maintenance of roads and bridges. Cities receive 10.41 percent of the funds, counties 9.25 percent and townships 4.83 percent.
MOUNT VERNON -- Members of the Knox County Board of Health were given a review of the 2011 Infectious Disease Report when they met Wednesday evening at the Knox County Health Department.
DANVILLE -- Danville Police responded to an injured man outside the Hangout restaurant late Wednesday evening, according to Police Chief Monte Vance.
WESTERVILLE -- Third time was not the charm for the Centerburg Trojans.
